Psalm 23:4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. God saw you getting tired, so He put His arms around you and whispered, “Come home to Me”. Praying for the family in this time of bereavement, praying that God will give them the strength and sustainment needed for this occasion. It is a difficult thing for loved ones to endure the loss of a Mom who brought such great joy to a family during their life and childhood and those days of joy can be remembered forever. It’s the little things, the small, everyday occurrences you will remember. All of her stories, her laughs, and her smiles throughout the days of her precious life. Even though it seems like you can never recover from your loss, it is these very memories that will help push the pain away and bring back the smiles. The memories they have left you no one can take away, memories that will bring forth a smile and conquer the painful tears. It is time to remember her smiling, until we see her in heaven once again. The Bible conveys a message that death is not the end of life; it is only the body, which perishes, the spirit can never die, it continues to live. The thought brings a lot of comfort during the time of sorrow. When the heart weeps at the end of a dear loved one’s life, the mind tells you this is not the end, but a new beginning of a journey with God. So it is my prayer that those memories will flood the thoughts of this precious family during the days ahead. So sympathetic for your loss. God bless all of you. Matt 5:4 “Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.” Isaiah 41:10 “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand..” “24 “Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life. 25 Very truly I tell you, a time is coming and has now come when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God and those who hear will live. 26 For as the Father has life in himself, so he has granted the Son also to have life in himself. John 5:24-26 Matthew 11:28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
