Carroll R. Waltz

Bill Leser - March 13, 2020
We were sorry to hear of Carroll's passing. He was such a joy to talk with whenever we would be together. You have so many wonderful memories to hold dear in your hearts. With the coronavirus threat, we thought it best to stay at home. We will miss seeing and talking with you but please know we will continue to keep all of you in our thoughts and prayers.

My family and I are very sorry for your loss of a great man, husband, father and grandfather. I have many fond memories of Carroll throughout the years. I can remember coming to the farm house as a child with my father and playing in the tree house and running around on the family farm while my father spent time with him. I remember him coming to the elevator with grain and dumping grain for him. My wife and I purchased our first home nearby and he always waved as he drove by. His smile was so infectious and he had such a great soul. It was a great pleasure to have attended and served with him at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church. He will be greatly missed by many. Looking forward to the day to see him and my father again. May God's love, peace and comfort be with the Waltz family each and everyday!

I am so sorry to hear of Carroll's passing. We lived just down the road from him for 30 some years and saw him everyday walking down the road, later driving his gator down the road. He was the nicest man.

So sorry for your loss

Susan Weaver - March 09, 2020
Very sorry for the loss of this special man. Have such fond memories of playing at the white farm house growing up with this childhood family. I remember Marjorie and Erma both with much fondness. When I would see him anywhere he would always make a point to come over and talk. His smile was so contagious. Plus, enjoyed seeing him on his weekly visits to Evelyn. Also over the years from time to time we would talk farming.
