John S. "Steve" Fowler

Jerrel DeWitt Fair - May 13, 2020
Carol and your family, I thought so much of Steve, he always had a smile on his face and kind words for others. I was so glad that he made it to our class reunion. I know he was not feeling well and pushed himself to be there. He fought a courageous battle with all of his health problems. May he Rest In Peace and your wonderful memories give you a small measure of comfort. Love you, Jerrel

John was a "light" for Dale McNamara each time at dialysis. John never complained, but was always up beat for Dale. We always looked forward to seeing him drive his birthday present. He would always tell me to be careful, when I left on bad weather days. He would plow through the snow and ice not removed for the patients. God be with his family and you rest now,John with Dale in heaven. God bless, Carolyn McNamara

For the whole Fowler family, we are so very sorry for your loss. Because of this COVID-19 thing we will not be able to come to the funeral home as we are in 'self-quarantine', but please know that our thoughts and prayers are with each of you.

ROGER A RIGGEN - May 12, 2020
To all of Steve's Family, he was a dear friend and co-worker. We were practically brothers for the last 20 years of my Amtrak career. We even went boating a time or two at the Ohio River and Heritage Lake. I always to Carol I didn't know how she put up with him but always in a joking way. Carol would say "well it's pretty hard" and smile real big. I also remember the day Josh got his foot injured really bad and how we all at work was so upset for Steve and Carol. Susie and I will surely miss Steve as Carol and Family will be in our thoughts and prayers to ease your pain of loss and start comforting as we know he will be in the hands of our Lord and will have no pain only peace! Will miss you Brother, Roger Riggen

Carol and Family, I'm so sorry to hear of John's passing. I have known the family since Edna sat for my brothers and myself after school while mom (Faye)worked and I went to school with John. Please give my sympathy all in the family, since I won't be able to attend the services. Mary Louise
