A. Dwayne Palmer, 59, of Waldron, passed away Thursday, March 2, 2017 at his residence.
He was born September 22, 1957, in Searcy, Arkansas, the son of John Logan and Martha Jean (Duncan) Palmer.
Dwayne is survived by his mother of Williamsport; daughter, Ashley Palmer of Indianapolis; brother, Johnny Lynn Palmer; sister, Regena Kay Woodrow of Williamsport; granddaughters, Brooklyn Carroll and Maddox Carroll; nephew, Kaleb Alan Woodrow and significant other, Harlie Abernathy, of Lafayette; great-nephew, Beau Alan Woodrow of Lafayette; and close longtime friends, Wendell Richards, Kevin Muldoon, Myron Caffee and Kenny Yantiss.
He was preceded in death by his father; and sister, Ruby Jean Palmer.
Dwayne graduated from Southeast Fountain School Corporation in Veedersburg, in 1975.
He was a farmer and truck driver.
Dwayne was a member of the Saddle Club and the Blue River Lions Club.
A gathering of friends will be from 4 to 5 p.m. Saturday, March 11, 2017 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.
A celebration of Dwayne’s life will be at 5 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Inurnment will be at Riverside Cemetery in Attica.
