Alice O. Peterson

Alice O. Peterson, 92, of Morristown, passed away Monday, June 30, 2014 at Morristown Manor in Morristown. She was born January 21, 1922, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the daughter of Harold John and Alma M. (Johnson) Osberg. On February 10, 1943, she married her husband of 55 years, Earl Robert Peterson, and he preceded her in death on March 7, 1998. Survivors include her son, Paul Peterson and wife, Jane, of Morristown; daughters, Karen Tschida and husband, Donald, of Duluth, Minnesota and Charlott Taylor-Bisteadau and husband, Gary, of Moundsview, Minnesota; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Ethel Osberg. Alice graduated from North High School in North Minneapolis, Minnesota and attended college at the University of Minnesota. She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church in Greenfield. Graveside services will be at 1:15 p.m. Thursday, July 17, 2014 at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Local services were entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Frazier Chapel, 124 E. North St. in Morristown.
