Aline Cecil Bausback

Aline Bausback, 82, formerly of Shelbyville passed away Thursday, February 23, 2012 in Hospice of Wake County in Raleigh, North Carolina. Born March 1, 1929, in Richmond, she was the daughter of Ellsworth and Cordella (Helton) Cecil. She married Laurence J. Bausback on January 18, 1947, and he preceded her in death on August 14, 1980. Survivors include her daughter, Janet S. (husband, Gary E.) Griffey of Clayton, North Carolina; granddaughter, Jillann (husband, Steve O.) Fricke of Clayton; great-granddaughter, Megan N. Fricke of Bushnell, Florida; sisters, her twin, Pauline Ethell of Lancaster, California, Del Wetzel and Alice Merrick, both of Indianapolis, Mildred Wallace of Columbus, Ohio and Ann Shadley of Shelbyville; brothers, James Cecil of Indianapolis, Ray Cecil of Shelbyville and Larry Cecil of Waldron; and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Ginny Noggle, Ruby Conrad and Connie Cecil; and a brother, Robert Cecil. Mrs. Bausback was a member of First Christian Church in Shelbyville. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 1, 2012 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, March 2, 2012 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
