Angela “Annie” Ayers Taylor, 35, of Shelbyville, passed away peacefully Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at Franciscan St. Francis Hospital in Indianapolis with her family present.
She was born January 4, 1980, in Homestead, Florida, the daughter of Dana Ayers and Susan (Perry) Ayers. She married Roy Taylor on July 27, 2013, and he survives.
Annie is also survived by her father, Dana Ayers and wife, Cathy, of Shelbyville; mother, Susan Ayers of Greenfield; sons, Ryan Taylor and Mason Taylor, both of Shelbyville and Bradley Pope of Waldron; daughter, Emily Taylor of Shelbyville; sister, Courtney Allen and husband, Carl, of Boggstown; brother, Spencer Ayers of Boggstown; paternal grandmother, Patricia Lumb and husband, Bill, of Tavernier, Florida; maternal grandfather, Jim Perry and wife, Mary Jane, of Shelbyville; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jr. and Reba Taylor of Shelbyville; and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Christopher Ryan Ayers.
Annie graduated from Shelbyville High School in 1998.
She attended First Church of the Nazarene.
Annie was a great mother. She enjoyed helping her children with Brownies and Boy Scouts.
She loved spending time with her family.
Annie enjoyed refurbishing furniture, doing craft projects and raising flowers.
She also leaves behind her dog, Daisy.
Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, August 23, 2015 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, August 24, 2015 at the funeral home.
Interment will be at Miller Cemetery in Shelby County.
Memorial contributions may be made to Annie Ayers Taylor Memorial Fund, in care of the funeral home.
