Anita Alice Judge

Anita Alice Judge, 71, of Fairland passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2008, at Major Hospital. Born September 4, 1936, in Shelby County, she was the daughter of Raymond R. and Opal Alice (Daugherty) Rouse. She married Jack W. Judge on April 30, 1955, and he preceded her in death on August 9, 1977. Survivors include her daughters, Brenda Judge and Rita Moss, both of Fairland; sister, Sue (husband, Robert) McCombs of Mount Gilead, N.C.; and granddaughter, Alison N. Moss. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Kenneth R. Rouse. Mrs. Judge had been employed at Thomson Consumer Electronics, formerly RCA, since 1965. She graduated from Fairland High School in 1954. Mrs. Judge was a member of New Life United Methodist Church. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Freeman Family Funeral Homes, Carmony-Ewing Harrison Street Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. Funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Fairland Cemetery in Fairland.
