Anna Mae Huber, 94, of Shelbyville passed away Saturday, November 10, 2007.
Born November 13, 1912, in Johnson County, she was the daughter of Charlie E. and Stella M. (Possman) Fisher. She married Roland O. Huber on June 12, 1935, and he preceded her in death on March 16, 1994.
Survivors include her sons, Charles W. Huber, James R. (wife, Nancy) Huber, Rex D. (wife, Kye Ja) Huber, and John T. (wife, Jane) Huber, all of Shelbyville, and David L. Huber of Columbus; 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 4 step-grandchildren; and 7 step-greatgrandchildren.
She also was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Margaret E. Thorpe; infant brother; and granddaughter, Andrea Huber.
Mrs. Huber had been a nurse at Community Hospital in Indianapolis from 1963 until retiring in 1978. She later was employed at Heritage House Convalescent Ceenter until the early 1990s and was the director of Shelbyville Community Services for many years.
She was a member of Chatty-Charmers Home Demonstration Club in Brandywine Township Bear Paws Quilting Guild; Shelby County Arts and Crafts Club; Shelby County Historical Society; and Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Freeman Family Funeral Homes, Carmony-Ewing Harrison Street Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with Pastor Fred Troxell officiating.
Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery in Shelby County.
