Anthony Scott “Tony” Brinegar, 53, of Shelbyville, passed away Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at his residence.
He was born January 5, 1961, in Bloomington, the son of Ronald E. and Deloris (Funkhouser) Brinegar. He is survived by his loving wife, Karen Margeson Brinegar.
Other survivors include his parents of Bloomington; sons, Patrick Brinegar of Indianapolis, Christopher Brinegar and wife, Marie, of Ellettsville and Russell Abercrombie and wife, Mary and Randall Abercrombie and wife, Melissa, both of Cincinnati, Ohio; daughter, Renee Wood and husband, Shannon, of Williamstown, Kentucky; brothers, Mark Brinegar and Jody Brinegar and wife, Lori, both of Bloomington and Jay Brinegar and wife, Stacy, of Ellettsville; grandchildren, Zaidee Brinegar, Trevor Brinegar, Todd Gabor, Haley Milillo, Celine Milillo, Kalyn Abercrombie, Karyssa Abercrombie, Reese Abercrombie, Amelia Abercrombie and Sydney Abercrombie; great-granddaughter, Olivia Gabor; nephews, Jacob Brinegar and Adam Brinegar; and nieces, Charlotte Reed and Erika Brinegar.
Anthony was a 1979 graduate of Edgewood High School in Ellettsville and Lincoln Tech.
He was a member of Faith Trinity Pentecostal Church.
Anthony was employed at Fresenius Medical Care.
He was very talented with his hands and was an excellent woodworker. He was a model train enthusiast and had a large collection.
Anthony loved going camping with his wife.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Monday, September 22, 2014 at Faith Trinity Pentecostal Church, 505 Pennsylvania St. in Shelbyville.
Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Monday at the church, with Brother Perry Fouts officiating.
Services entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.
