Betty Jeanne Kelley

Betty Jeanne Kelley passed away May 18, 2020. She was born on January 8, 1928 in Shelbyville, Indiana, to Kathryn and John S. Young. Both of whom preceded her in death. She graduated from Shelbyville High School and attended Indiana University. In 1955, Betty married Glenn Kelley who also preceded her in death as did her brother, John T. Young. She is survived by her children: Sara (Jay Harshe) Michael (Maria) and John (Kerry), 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Graveside rites will be held at Forest Hill Cemetery in Shelbyville on Saturday, July 18, 2020 at 1 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to MI P.E.O. Fund or Animal Rescue. Services have been entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.
