Bill Hutton, 89, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 30, 2013, after a three month struggle with complications of heart surgery. He was surrounded during this time by his loving family. His courage and positive attitude was a true inspiration for all those with whom he came in contact.

They came to Shelbyville in 1955 to run theAlcazar Restaurant above the Strand Theater. He later started Hutton Draperies . They were among the first residents in Wellington Heights where they lived until retiring to Fort Myers, FL, in 1985.

In Florida he served as president of the South Wind Village neighborhood association, president of the Fort Myers Senior Center association, and enjoyed many hours on the golf course. He and Sonia both enjoyed walks on the beach and sharing their home in the sunshine with visiting friends and family.
