Bonnie Hidy

Bonnie L. Hidy, 50, of Morristown Manor passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2008, at Major Hospital after an extended illness. Born June 4, 1958, in Xenia, Ohio, she was the daughter of Jack Laird and Mary Kessler. Survivors include her mother and stepfather Robert Kessler of Manilla; daughters, Sara Hidy of Indianapolis and Jennifer Hidy of Shelbyville; son, Nathan Hidy of Shelbyville; sister, Jackie Gallagher of Florida; and sisters, Lisa (husband, Fred) Mull of Tennessee, Mary (husband, Christopher) Sitton of Shelbyville, Kim Templeton of Shelbyville and Tammy Laird. She was preceded in death by her father. Ms. Hidy resided in Shelbyville for most of her life. She graduated from Shelbyville High School in 1876. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Freeman Family Funeral Homes, Carmony-Ewing Harrison Street Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. A memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with Pastor Brad Davis officiating.
