Brenda Lee Boles

Brenda Lee Boles, 55, of Indianapolis, passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at the University of Chicago Medical Center.

She was born December 26, 1966, in Mountain Home, Idaho, the daughter of James England and Betty (Hobbs) Lawless.

Brenda is survived by her sons, Phillip Boles and girlfriend, Brittney, of Indianapolis, and Brandon Boles of Shelbyville; boyfriend, Michael Bielanowski of Indianapolis; best friend, Cindy Evans; sisters, Tammie Bowers and husband, Wes, Lynda Ruble and husband, Alvin, Darnell Bakes and husband, Jim, Wanda Parker and husband, John, Peggy Vise and husband, Richard, and Kaylyn Giddings and husband, Tim; brothers, Jimmy England and wife, Evelyn, Dave England and Timmy England; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Cathy Thurston.

Brenda graduated in 1984 from Rushville Consolidated High School, and received an associates degree from Harrison College.

She was employed at Meijer for the past six years, working in inventory management.

Brenda enjoyed being outdoors, listening to music and sun bathing.

She loved animals and leaves behind her two cats, Raven and Mercedes.

Spending time with family and friends was very important to Brenda.

Brenda was a bright light in our lives and in honor of her, we are requesting those attending wear bright and cheery clothing.

Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, September 24, 2022, at Shelbyville Community Church, 720 North County Road 325 East, Shelbyville, Indiana.

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, at the church. A Celebration of Brenda’s life will follow in the theatre room at the church.

Services have been entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.
