Carol L. Roberts

Carol L. Roberts, 62, of Greensburg, passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana in Columbus. She was born July 9, 1951, in Shelbyville, the daughter of Donald Michael “Mick” and Esther (Hawkins) Roberts. Survivors include her son, Joe Smothers, Jr. and wife, Precious, of Greensburg; sisters, Blanche Moss and husband, Gary and Joyce Jackson, both of Maxwell, Ava Roberts and Vena Dunagan, both of Greenfield; brother, Mike Roberts of Greenfield; grandchildren, Heaven Smothers and Dillion Smothers; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. Carol was formerly a housekeeper at several of the local motels. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking and flowers. Carol loved spending time with her grandchildren. She also leaves behind, Tigger and Pretty. Services to be announced by Freeman Family Funeral Homes in Shelbyville.
