Carolyn Louise "Mimi" Arnold, 87, of Lutz, Fla. and formerly of Gwynneville and Indianapolis, IN passed away on Tuesday, June 1, 2010.
She was born May 26, 1923 in Rushville, IN to Lawrence and Louise (Gottlieb) Wortman.
Carolyn was the president of the 1941 graduating class of Morristown High School and attended Central Normal College in Danville, IN.
She married Harold Arnold on September 26, 1942 and was a member of Gwynneville Christian Church.
She worked in commercial real estate and retired as an executive assistant. She moved to Florida in 1975.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, square dancing, playing the piano and gardening.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Harold B. Arnold and son-in-law, Eugene Knitl.
She is survived by her two daughters, Jill Knitl and Jody Pankey and her husband, Jerry; grandchildren, Stacy Patton and her husband, Patrick and Jonathon Pankey and great grandchildren, Caitlyn and Erin Patton.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 12, 2010 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Frazier Chapel, 124 E. North St. in Morristown. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Asbury Cemetery.
