Caryl M. Robbins, of Franklin, a former Shelbyville resident, passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at her home. Born September 26, 1919, in Grayville, Illinois, she was the daughter of William F. and Florence (Meade) Loper. She married Bueford Robbins on April 14, 1946, and he preceded her in death on December 15, 1992. Survivors include her daughter, Julia A. (husband, Ken Zimski) Robbins of Franklin; son, William M. Robbins of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Joseph Robbins, Kristen Ewbank and Danielle Robbins; and great-grandchildren, Alexandria Robbins, Carson Robbins and Jade Bailey. She was also preceded in death by her parents; a son, Stephen Robbins; and a brother, Warren Loper. Private graveside services will be conducted at Forest Hill Cemetery in Shelbyville. Services entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St.
