Cecile Irene Jackson

Cecile Irene Jackson, 45, of Shelbyville, passed away Thursday, December 1, 2016 at Major Hospital in Shelbyville. She was born August 16, 1971, in Connersville, the daughter of Jack Edward and Wanda Sue Sweet. She married Lester Jackson on June 15, 1990, and he survives. Cecile is also survived by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Lester Sr. and Norma Jackson of Shelbyville; and her best friend, Kala Murphy of Shelbyville. She was preceded in death by her father. Cecile graduated from Shelbyville High School in 1990, and attended one year of college. She enjoyed crafting. Cecile loved all animals, especially cats. She leaves behind three of her cats, Cheyenne, Dakota and Snowball; Gizmo and Sassy preceded her in death. Private family services have been entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.
