Charlene Beyer, 76, of Shelbyville passed away Saturday, September 11, 2010 at Hospice of South Central Indiana in Columbus.
Born October 28, 1933 in Shelby County, she was the daughter of John Sr. and Bertha (Runnebohm) Beyer.
Survivors include her son, Greg (wife, Lynne) Baker of Noblesville; daughter, Annie Baker of Las Vegas, Nevada; brothers, John Beyer, Jr. and James (wife, Rose) Beyer, both of Shelbyville and Walter (wife, Frieda) Beyer of Houston, Texas; sisters, Clara (husband, Kenneth) Beyer and Norma (husband,Warren) Browning, both of Shelbyville and Elizabeth (husband, Jack) Hewitt of Waldron; granddaughter, Shelby Baker of Noblesville; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Robert Beyer, Daniel Beyer and Charles Beyer.
A gathering of friends will be from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm on Saturday, September 18, 2010 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St.
A memorial service will be at 12:30 pm at the funeral home, with Rev. Bill Horner officiating.
A reception will be held at the Knights of Columbus from 2:30 to 4:30 pm.
Interment will be in St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery in Shelby County.
