Charlotte Ann Nay

Charlotte A. Nay, 75, of Edinburgh, passed away Friday, August 12, 2022, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana in Columbus.

She was born December 2, 1946, in Columbus, the daughter of Paul and Odetta M. (Mohr) Nay.

Charlotte is survived by her sister, Karen Nay of Edinburgh; and several cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Charlotte graduated in 1965 from Southwestern High School.

She was a member of Mount Auburn Christian Church.

Charlotte had formerly worked Ranch and Western Supermarkets and the Edinburgh Premium Outlet Mall, retiring in 2008.

She enjoyed watching the Indianapolis Colts and Indiana University Basketball.

Charlotte also enjoyed listening to gospel and country music and watching old westerns on television.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, August 15, 2022, at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, August 16, 2022, at the funeral home, with Pastor Phil Farnsley officiating.

Interment will be at Mount Auburn Cemetery in Shelby County.
