Charlotte Sue Allen

Charlotte Sue Allen, 59, of Indianapolis, formerly of Shelbyville, passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at her residence. She was born January 23, 1956, in Shelbyville, the daughter of John Henry and Virginia (Fogerty) Fischer. Charlotte is survived by her son, John Gabriel Allen and wife, Mindy, of Franklin; daughters, Lauren Rachel Manning and husband, Greg, of Commiskey, and Christa Elizabeth Guilfoyle and husband, Greg, of Flagstaff, Arizona; a sister, Madelyn Kehrer and husband, Sam, of St. Petersburg, Florida; grandchildren, William Allen, Victoria Allen, Morgan Manning, Rachel Manning, Wyatt Guilfoyle, Caleb Guilfoyle and Evan Guilfoyle. She was preceded in death by her parents. Charlotte graduated from Waldron High School in 1975. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Charlotte formerly modeled for the J.C. Penney catalog. She enjoyed spending time at the Elks Lodge from the mid-1980’s to the mid-1990’s. A gathering of friends will be from 12 noon to 1 pm, Saturday, July 9, 2016 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville. A memorial services will be at 1 pm, Saturday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Charlotte Allen Memorial Fund, in care of the funeral home.
