Chris Lee Wright

Chris Lee Wright, 58, of Greenfield passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at his residence. Born July 30, 1953, in Shelbyville, he was the son of William Harold Wright and Mary Frances (Theobald) Beyers. Survivors include his brother, Stephen Wright of Greenfield; sister, Trudy Wright of Greenfield; and niece, Lauren Wright of Indianapolis. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Meredith Wright. Chris was a maintenance worker for Indiana Department of Transportation for the past seven years. He was an avid bird lover and loved nature. He enjoyed golfing. Chris graduated from Greenfield High School in 1971. He had been a stage hand and roady with Gene Simmons and the band KISS. Visitation will be from from 10 am to 12 noon Saturday, October 1, 2011 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville. Funeral services will be at 12 noon at the funeral home, with Rev. Robert Langdon officiating. Interment will be in Bennett Cemetery.
