Christopher Robin Bond, 42, of Shelbyville passed away Friday, August 1, 2008 at his residence. Born January 22, 1966 to Joseph D. Bond and Dianna L. (Ewick) Bond. Survivors include father, Joseph D. Bond of Greenfield; mother, Dianna L. Bond of Shelbyville; daughters, Cory L. Cassels of Salisbury, North Carolina and Britney N. Bruner of Shelbyville; granddaughter, Hailee Cassels; sister, Barbara (husband, Jeff) Weaver of Shelbyville; brother, Victor (wife, Maria) Bond of McCordsville; Fiance', Donna Alvey of Shelbyville; Father-in-law, Gerald Branson of Shelbyville; several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; and several nieces and nephews. Chris was the owner of Chris Bond Construction in Salisbury, North Carolina for 20 years. He attended West Street United Methodist Church. Chris attended Shelby schools to the age of 14, and then Sun Valley High School in California. He restored and raced Seroc Datsun. Visitation will be at Freeman Family Funeral Homes, Carmony-Ewing Harrison Street Chapel, 819 S. Harrison Street, Shelbyville, IN on Monday, August 4, 2008 from 4 to 8 pm. Funeral services will be at the funeral home on Tuesday, August 5, 2008, at 10 am, with the Rev. Carl Ewick officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to a trust fund to be set up for his grandchildren, donations may be sent in care of Freeman Family Funeral Homes, 819 S. Harrison St., Shelbyville, IN 46176.
