Christopher Scott "Pop Tart" Tart

Christopher Scott “Pop Tart” Tart, 33, of Shelbyville, passed away Monday, March 12, 2018 in Shelbyville. He was born September 27, 1984, in Shelbyville, the son of Scott Copple and Cathy (Tart) Jones. Christopher is survived by his father and step-mother, Debbie, of Spencer; mother of Franklin; step-father, Jackie Jones of Shelbyville; children, Wrayonna Tart, Hayden Tart, Makayla Tart, Brantly Tart and Oliver Tart, all of Shelbyville; sister, Samantha Jones of Shelbyville; and girlfriend, Lexi Karnes of Shelbyville. He graduated from Christian Academy in Greenfield. Christopher was a member of Souls Harbor Church. He formerly worked for New Image Mixtures. Christopher loved spending time with his children. He enjoyed old cars, especially low rider Cadillacs. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, March 16, 2018 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 17, 2018 at the funeral home, with Rev. Paul Runyan officiating.
