Clay Daniel Hoefener, 53, of Shelbyville, passed away Sunday, October 1, 2017 at his home.
He was born February 17, 1964, in Louisville, Kentucky, the son of Walter H. and Margaret M. “Peg” (Phillips) Hoefener.
Clay is survived by his mother of Shelbyville; brother, Judson D. Hoefener of Shelbyville; and three nephews, Grant, Dillon and Taylor.
He was preceded in death by his father; brothers, Brady A. Hoefener and Walter “Kirk” Hoefener; and sister, Lisa Marie Hoefener.
Clay graduated from Shelbyville High School in 1982.
He was a member of Shelbyville Community Church.
Clay worked for Window World, as a construction worker.
He enjoyed golfing, traveling, boating, fishing and was an avid Indianapolis Colts fan.
A memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, October 5, 2017 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville, friends may gather one hour prior.
