Collin Louis Vassar

Collin Louis Vassar, 5 hours, passed away Saturday, October 13, 2007, at Indiana University Medical Center in Indianapolis. Born October 13, 2007, in Indianapolis, he was the son of Adam E. and Jennifer S. (Peck) Vassar. Survivors include his parents of Shelbyville; brother, Alex Vassar; sister, Hannah Vassar; grandparents, M. Janet Peck and James and Dinah Vassr, all of Shelbyville; great-grandparents, Marguerite Klain of Brazil, Ind., and Evelyn Vassar of Seattle, Wash.; and uncles, James Fallain Peck of Shelbyville and Matthew J. (wife, Shannon) Vassar of Indianapolis. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, James Louis "Jim" Peck Jr. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 125 E. Broadway St. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, with the Rev. Chris Craig officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Terre Haute. Freeman Family Funeral Homes, Carmony-Ewing Harrison Street Chapel, 819 s. Harrison St., is handling the arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the James L.
