Crystal Ann Gerding, 30, of Morristown passed away Monday, July 5, 2010, at Indiana University Medical Center in Indianapolis.
Born March 26, 1980, in Shelbyville, she was the daughter of Emmett James Lawless and Penny Kay (Moss) White. She married Joshua P. Gerding on November 9, 2006, and he survives.
Other survivors include her father and stepmother, Teresa Lawless of Freeport; mother and stepfather, Mark White, of Grand Rapids, Michigan; daughters, Gillian AnnMarie Lawless and Gabriel Malisa Lee Gerding, both of Morristown; parents-in-law, Mark and Dr. Abigail A. Gerding of New Plymouth, Idaho; brother, Jason A. Lawless of Grand Rapids; stepbrothers, Andy Abrams of Freeport, Tony Abrams of Carmel and Robert Fields of Port Mugu, California; grandparents, Boyd and Beulah Moss of Hodginsville, Kentucky, Willett Raynor of Stanton, Michigan, William Reed and Jean Nickle, both of Freeport, and Pat Morgan of Shelbyville.
Mrs. Gerding was a homemaker and was formerly a beautician at Great Clips and Wal-Mart Styling Center, both in Greenfield, and Fiesta in Shelbyville.
She graduated from PJ's School of Cosmetology in 2004.
Mrs. Gerding was a member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church.
She was a loving mother and devoted her time to her children.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Frazier Chapel, 124 E. North St. in Morristown.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Morristown United Methodist Church, 221 S. Washington St., Morristown, with the Rev. Kenneth Wooden and Father Mark Van Wassenhove officiating.
