Dalton Lee DeMartino, 18, of Shelbyville, passed away Saturday, September 16, 2017 at his residence.
He was born November 29, 1998 in Shelbyville, the son of John G. “Jack” and Amy (Mozingo) DeMartino.
Dalton is survived by his parents of Shelbyville; sister, Brooke DeMartino of Shelbyville; brother, Jack DeMartino Jr. of Shelbyville; maternal grandparents, Gary and Theresa Mozingo of Shelbyville, and Rosemary and David Mikels of Norman; paternal grandparents, Patty and Mario Bostic of Arlington, and Jack and Cindy DeMartino of Shelbyville; aunts and uncles, Heather and Ty Branson, and Ashley and Chris Berry, all of Shelbyville; and four cousins.
Dalton graduated from Shelbyville High School in 2017.
He worked, along-side his Dad, at Jack’s Auto Repair.
Dalton was an accomplished self-taught guitar player, beginning when he was only 11 years old.
He enjoyed skateboarding and doing tricks on his BMX bicycle.
Dalton also leaves behind his dogs, Willa, Big Dog and Maggie.
Also, Dalton recently obtained his motorcycle license and loved riding his Harley, with his Dad and brother.
A gathering of friends will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, September 21, 2017 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville, with a celebration of Dalton’s life at 7 p.m.
