Dana Andrew "Andy" Keppel, 52, of Indianapolis passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2008.
Born January 15, 1956 in Shelbyville, he was the son of Glen A. and Thelma M. (Cox) Keppel. He married Kim A. Baldwin on January 18, 1980, and she survives.
Other survivors include his daughter, Deanna Keppel of Festus Groves, Mo.; sister, Tonda Boughner of Franklin; and grandsons, Cody, Bruce and Andrew.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Ruth Diann Keppel, Glenda Louise Inhoff and Glenna Jean Keppel.
Mr. Keppel was a foreman at Triumph Fabrications, formerly known as KT Corp.
He graduated from Waldron High School in 1974.
Mr. Keppel loved gardening, woodworking, cooking and his cars and dogs. He was known as Handy Andy.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Freeman Family Funeral Homes, Carmony-Ewing Harrison Street Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Steve Holland officiating.
Interment will be in Lewis Creek Baptist Cemetery in Shelby County.
