Daniel Wayne Holland, 60, of Fairland, passed away Friday, May 27, 2016 at his residence.
He was born December 17, 1955, in Indianapolis, the son of Charles Wayne Holland and Patricia Danese (Burns) Holland.
Daniel is survived by his step-mother, Eileen Holland of Greenwood; daughter, Nova Holland of Shelbyville; son, Daniel Wayne Holland Jr. and wife, Lindsey, of Fairland; sisters, Danese Kelley and husband, Paul, of Camby, and Patty Sites of Indianapolis; brothers, Dennis Holland and David Holland and wife, Angie, both of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Jacob McFarland, Daniel Wayne Holland III, Morgan Cutler and Julia Cutler; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Daniel graduated from Triton Central High School in 1973.
He was a truck driver for over 30 years, retiring in 2015.
Daniel was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 2695.
He enjoyed watching NASCAR and the Los Angeles Raiders.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.
Funeral services will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
