Danny Everett Tucker, 57, of Shelbyville, passed away Thursday, September 6, 2012 at his residence.
Born May 11, 1955, in Shelbyville, he was the son of Dennis Everett and Pauline V. (Smith) Tucker.
Survivors include his daughters, Lynn Tucker and Cindy Tucker, both of Shelbyville; son, Dennis (wife, Christina) Tucker of Shelbyville; brothers, Dale Tucker, Douglas (wife, Darlynn) Tucker and Daryl Tucker, all of Shelbyville; sisters, Theresa (husband, Jim) Hedden and Connie James, both of Shelbyville; grandchildren, Chad Tucker, Taylor Moore, Cindy Watson, Connor Moore, Brianna Smothers, Katharine Smothers and Gianna Moore; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Mr. Tucker was a lifelong resident of Shelbyville and graduated from Shelbyville High School in 1974.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Marines, serving during Vietnam War.
Mr. Tucker retired from Knauf Insulation after 17 years of service in quality control.
He enjoyed working in his yard.
Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
