Darryl G. "DJ" Morrell, Jr.

Darryl G. “DJ” Morrell, Jr., 36, of Shelbyville, passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at MHP Medical Center in Shelbvyille. He was born March 3, 1982, in Beech Grove, the son of Darryl G. “DJ” Morrell and Sandra (Brown) Morrell. Darryl is survived by his father of Hamilton, Ohio; mother of Shelbyville; children, Zaak and Kiara; sister, Niki Morrell; and lifelong friend, Candice Gilles. He was preceded in death by his grandparents. Darryl graduated in the Class of 2000. He was a construction worker and formerly worked for Morrell Development. Darryl enjoyed sports and camping with his family. Private family services will be observed. Services have been entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 819 S.
