David Bryant, 59, of Fairland, died Saturday, Oct. 15, at Major Hospital.
Born March 14, 1946, in Indianapolis, he was the son of the late Raymond and Flossie (Stewart) Bryant. He married Sybil Wells on Sept. 26, 1992, and she survives.
Other survivors include two daughters, Michele (husband, Troy) Hughes and Melissa Barker, both of Fairland; one son, Michael (wife, Sherry) Sutter Jr. of Greenfield; and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Herman Bryant, and one sister, Barbara Page.
Mr. Bryant had lived in Fairland for four months after moving from Indianapolis.
He had been a delivery driver for several different businesses.
Mr. Bryant was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
He was an avid NASCAR, Indianapolis Colts and Indiana Pacers fan.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Carmony-Ewing Harrison Street Chapel, Freeman Family Funeral Homes, 819 S. Harrison St.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jack Ivie officiating.
Burial will be in Fairland Cemetery, in Fairland.
