Dawnielle Kaye (Nolley) Sweet, 40, of Flora, Illinois, passed away Friday, September 6, 2013 at Wishard Hospital in Indianapolis.
She was born July 22, 1973, in Shelbyville, the daughter of Donnie Nolley and Debra (Hatton) Dodd.
Survivors include her father, Donnie (Rosellen Meek) Nolley of Lake Helen, Florida; mother, Debra Dodd of Celina, Tennessee; son, Jacob Samuel Bailey of Flora; paternal grandmother, Betty Dobbins of Shelbyville; sisters, Lavanna (husband, Andrew) Hazel of Indianapolis and Rachel Meek of Gainesville, Florida; brother, Jason Nolley of Castalian Springs, Tennessee; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Duane and Ruby Hatton and paternal grandfather, Cleaver Nolley.
Dawnielle attended Triton Central Schools.
She was a member of Little Flower Catholic Church in Indianapolis, where she faithfully attended. She also went to many women’s retreats.
Dawnielle enjoyed scrapbooking, hiking and fishing.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 125 E. Broadway St. in Shelbyville, with Father Robert J. Gilday officiating.
Interment will be in Miller Cemetery in Shelby County.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Educational Fund for Jacob Samuel Bailey, in care of the funeral home.
