Deborah Irene Smith Rosen, 51, of Indianapolis, passed away Thursday, December 25, 2014 at her home.
She was born March 29, 1963, in Shelbyville, the daughter of Harry and Eula Irene “E.I.” (Bowlby) Smith. She married Larry Rosen on June 11, 1994, and he survives.
Other survivors include her parents of Shelbyville; sister, Trudy Ann Smith of Indianapolis; and brother-in-law, Bruce Rosen and wife, Rachel, of Westfield.
Deborah graduated from Shelbyville High School in 1981, and received her bachelors degree in interior design from Butler University in 1991.
She was a LEEDS certified Interior Designer since graduating in 1991.
Deborah was a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elks Lodge No. 1307 in Rushville.
She enjoyed spending time with her family.
Deborah also leaves behind her cat, Mickey.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, December 29, 2014 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at the funeral home, with Pastor Cliff Bunch officiating.
Interment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery in Shelbyville.
