Debra Lynn Johnson

Debra Lynn Johnson, 47 of Bloomington, Minn. formerly Shelbyville resident, passed away Sunday, October 14, 2007. Born March 28, 1960, in Shelbyville, she was the daughter of Jack and Sandra K. (Boring) Johnson. Survivors include her mother of Shelbyville; brothers, Jeff Johnson of Leesburg, Fla., Eric Johnson of Indianapolis and Curt Johnson of Shelbyville, Mike Johnson of Laurel; and grandmother, Ruth Boring of Shelbyville. She was preceded in death by her father and an infant brother. Ms. Johnson was employed with the United States Postal Service and worked at the Eden Prairie branch of the Minneapolis Post Office for 21 years. She was a U.S. Marine veteran, serving from 1980 to 1984. Ms. Johnson graduated in 1978 from Shelbyville High School. A memorial service, followed by cremation, was held in Bloomington, Minn. A gathering of friends will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at Freeman Family Funeral Homes, Carmony-Ewing Harrison Street Chapel, 819 S.
