Debra Sue Harper, 53, of Indianapolis passed away Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at Methodist Hospital. Born August 9, 1957 in Greenfield, she was the daughter of Clifford Harper and Doris C. (Scott) Badgley. Survivors include her fiance', Anthony "Tony" Willis of Indianapolis; son, David Harper; sister, Vickie (husband, Ron) Bryant of Greenfield; brother, Rick (wife, Robin) Harper of Corinth, Texas; nephews, Ken Bacon and Rickie Harper; nieces, Krystel Bryant and Julie Harper. She was preceded in death by her parents; and step-father, Robert O. Badgley. Ms. Harper was a member of Eastern Star Lodge # 316 in Morristown. She graduated from Morristown High School and from the University of Indianapolis in 1981. Ms. Harper was an avid movie fan and loved dogs. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 pm, Monday, February 28, 2011 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Frazier Chapel, 124 E. North St. in Morristown. Funeral services will be at 8 pm at the funeral home. Eastern Star services will be conducted. Cremation will follow, with burial at a later date in New Palestine Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Debra S. Harper Memorial Fund, in care of Freeman Family Funeral Homes, P.O. Box 265, Morristown, Indiana 46161.
