Dennie Jane Haehl, 59, of Shelbyville, died Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2006, at St. Francis Hospital in Beech Grove.
Born Nov. 11, 1946, in Shelbyville, she was the daughter of Dennis and Annabelle (Miller) Haehl.
Survivors include her father of Shelbyville; one brother, David G. (wife, Diane) Haehl of Shelbyville; one sister, Margaret R. Haehl of Shelbyville; one niece, Kimberly Haehl; and three nephews, Eric Haehl, B.J. Haehl and Drew Haehl.
She was preceded in death by her mother.
Ms. Haehl had been a systems analyst and training specialist for National City Bank, Military Banking Division, from 1989 until retiring in 1996. She previously was an independent computer consultant from 1985 to 1989; an account manager with Management Science American Inc. in Chicago, Ill., and internal training coordinator in Atlanta, Ga., from 1979 to 1986; programmer analyst with Merchants National Bank from 1976 to 1979; and employed with the Indiana State Highway Commission from 1966 to 1976.
She had attended Butler University and received an associate's degree in computer technology from Purdue University.
Ms. Haehl was a member of St. Vincent Catholic Church and the Good Friends Program at Indiana University-Purdue University, Indianapolis.
Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m., with the rosary recited at 7 p.m., Sunday at Freeman Family Funeral Homes, Carmony-Ewing Harrison Street Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 4128 E. Michigan Road, with the Rev. Paul Landwerlen officiating.
Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
