Donald Nolley, 82, of Greenfield, formerly of Shelbyville, passed away Saturday, January 23, 2016 at Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield.
He was born August 20, 1933, in Morristown, the son of Hobart and Flora (Mardis) Nolley. On May 23, 1956, he married his wife of 59 years, Emogene "Jean" Glover, and she survives.
Other survivors include his daughter, Beth Ann Ray-Scott and husband, David, of Greenfield; sons, David E. Nolley of Greenfield, and Kevin A. Nolley and wife, DeeDee, of Muncie; brother, Norman Nolley and wife, Maureen, of Shelbyville; grandchildren, Abby Brubaker and husband, Zach, Alexander Nolley, Alexander Ray and Garret Nolley; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, James Nolley, Robert Nolley and Paul "Clever" Nolley.
Donald graduated from Shelbyville High School in 1951, and attended Rutgers University in Camden, New Jersey.
He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving from 1954-1956.
Donald retired from KCL Corporation in Shelbyville as a salesman, in 1990, with over 30 years of service.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Frazier Chapel, 124 E. North St. in Morristown.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Interment will be at Asbury Cemetery in Morristown.
