Donald Wayne Kaster

Donald Wayne Kaster, 70, of Shelbyville passed away Thursday, July 14, 2011 at his residence. Born January 26, 1941, in Shelbyville, he was the son of Chandis and Wilma (Dugan) Kaster. Survivors include his aunts, Evelyn Hite and Marjorie Tucker, both of Shelbyville, and Betty Beyer of Illinois; uncle, Richard DeBaun of Greenwood and several cousins including Marilyn Hughes of Shelbyville. He was preceded in death by his parent; aunts, Doris Munsel, Violet DeBaun and Donna Hodson; and uncles, Jack DeBaun, Robert DeBaun, Eugene DeBaun and James DeBaun. Mr. Kaster retired in 1999 from KCL, after 37 years of service. He was a member of West Street United Methodist Church and Eagles Lodge. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 am, Monday, July 18, 2011 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. Funeral services will be at 11 am, Monday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
