Donna G. DeMott

Donna G. (Howison) DeMott, 75, of Shelbyville passed away Thursday, June 24, 2010 at Liberty Nursing Home in Dayton, Ohio. Born February 18, 1935, in Shelby County, she was the daughter of John Charles and Mary Ruth (Montgomery) Howison. She married Chester L. "Chet" DeMott on July 29, 1964, and he preceded her in death on April 23, 2004. Survivors include her sons, William Hank Crenshaw of Dayton and Samuel Crenshaw of Ocala, Florida; step-sons, Bradley L. DeMott of Marietta and Link B. DeMott of Mooresville; and two grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents. A gathering of friends will be from 10 a.m. to 12 noon Friday, July 2, 2010 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. Funeral services will be at 12 noon at the funeral home. Interment will be in Miller Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Shelbyville-Shelby County Public Library.
