Doris A. "Dee" Marcum

Doris A. "Dee" Marcum, 71, of Shelbyville, passed away Friday, September 25, 2015 in Shelbyville. She was born August 23, 1944, in Greenfield, the daughter of Bernice Trent. Doris is survived by her son, Todd A. Marcum of Shelbyville; a brother, Don Trent and wife, Ellen, of Florida; and grandson, Conner Marcum. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter-in-law, Kathy Marcum; sisters, Janet Taylor and Kay Bednarski; brother, Jimmy Trent; and a brother-in-law, Ray Bednarski. Doris graduated from Greenfield High School in 1962. She was formerly a secretary for Davis Homes. Doris enjoyed spending time with her friends at Charles Major Manor. Private family services will be observed. Services entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.
