Doris Jane Cochran, 85, of Shelbyville passed away Saturday in Indiana Heart Hospital.
Born February 9, 1924 in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of Curtis E. and Flura (Maness) Cochran.
Survivors includes her daughters, Nancy (husband, David) McDuffee of Fairland and Cindy Green of Missoula, Montana; grandchildren, Leslie Gambill, Kimberly Zorman, Amy Glackman, Todd Brandman, Mack Anderson, Jamey Anderson, Ben Anderson, Bogie Burke and Megan Gehring.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Doug Green; brother, Dean Cochran; and sister, Patricia Wolfram.
Ms. Cochran lived in Shelbyville since 1947.
She was a nurse at Major Hospital, Community East Hospital and in Montana, retiring in 1994.
Ms. Cochran graduated from Arsenal Technical High School in Indianapolis in 1942, and Indiana Central College in 1971.
She loved cooking.
Graveside rites will be conducted at 3 p.m. Monday at Boggstown Cemetery.
