Doris Lucille Wallace, 92, of Morristown passed away Thursday, May 29, 2008, at Morristown Manor.
Born September 20, 1915, in Morristown, she was the daughter of Harry and Hazel (Pottorff) Lindsay. She married Ernest Earl Wallace on January 16, 1941, and he preceded her in death on February 28, 1994.
Survivors include her sister, Betty (Andis) Everhart; and several nieces and nephews.
She also was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Clyde Lindsay, Claude Lindsay and Arthur Lindsay; and sisters, Freda (Andis) Cassell and Anna (Andis) Wyatt.
Mrs. Wallace had lived in Morristown until moving to Florida in 1975. She returned to Morristown in 2001.
She retired from Eli Lilly Co.
Mrs. Wallace graduated from Morristown High School in 1933.
She was a member of the Eastern Star and formerly attended the First Congregational Church in Sarasota, Florida.
Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday at Freeman Family Funeral Homes, Frazier Chapel, 124 E. North St. in Morristown.
Funeral services will be at 5 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Sarasota Memorial Park in Sarasota, Florida, at a later date.
