Doris M. Hauk, 73 of Arlington passed away Friday, September 21, 2007, at Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield.
Born August 27, 1934, in Shelby County, she was the daughter of Oral E. and Mary M. (Wooldridge) Wicker.
Survivors include her daughters, Deborah (husband, Tim) Shepherdson and Katherine (husband, Scott) Mann, both of Morristown; son, Dean (wife, Teresa) Hauk of Manilla; sisters, Velma Bogeman of Shelbyville, Sue Ann (husband, David) Wonn of Brinkley, Ark., and Evelyn A. Pitts of Morristown; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, David W. Hauk; sister, Erma Lee Deggeller; brother, Olan O. Wicker; and granddaughter, Ashley E. Hauk.
Ms. Hauk was formerly a dental assistant for Dr. William P. Keller in Indianapolis, and later employed at Randall Textron in Morristown, retiring in 1999.
She graduated from Morristown High School in 1952.
Ms. Hauk was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post No. 102 in Morristown.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Freeman Family Funeral Homes, Frazier Chapel, 124 E. North St. in Morristown.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Brian Wonn officiating.
Interment will be in Asbury Cemetery in Morristown.
