Dorothy L. Moberly

Dorothy L. Moberly, 85, o Shelbyville, died July 14, 2005, at Waldron Health Care Home, in Waldron. Born Jan. 13, 1920, in Shelbyville, she was the daughter of the late John and Grace (Alley) Bennett. She married Oris E. Moberly on Dec. 9, 1939, and he survives. Other survivors include one son, Larry E. Moberly of Cape Coral, Fla.; one sister, Katherine Zell of Shelbyville; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Carl Bennett, Robert Bennett and Raymond Bennett; and one sister, Martha Schuneman. Mrs. Moberly was a homemaker. She was an avid bingo player and a wonderful cook. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at Carmony-Ewing Broadway Street Chapel, Freeman Family Funeral Homes, 232 W. Broadway St. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Harvey Weaver officiating. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
