Dorothy-Lee Wells

Dorothy-Lee Wells, 90, of Fairland, passed away Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at Ashford Place Health Campus. Born January 24, 1920 in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of Carl Miller and Beatrice "Dolly" (Lesley) Bauer. She married Cleo Virgil Wells; he preceded her in death in 1967. Survivors include her daughter, Barbara (husband, John) Stout of Fairland; grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents; and son, Gerald David "Gary" Wells. Mrs. Wells was formerly a unit secretary at St. Francis Hospital. She graduated from Indianapolis Public Schools. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, October 2, 2010 at Fairland Cemetery, with Pastor Phil Farnsley officiating. Services are entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 South Harrison Street in Shelbyville.
