Elaine D. Moor

Elaine Diane Moor, 65, died Tuesday, Aug. 29, 2006, at Heritage House Convalescent Center. Born Nov. 15, 1940, in Livonia, Mich., she was the daughter of Alexander A. and Elba Abler. She married Michael D. Moor, and he preceded her in death on Nov. 27, 1999. Survivors include one daughter, Candice Moor of Shelbyville; one brother, Richard Abler of Bronson, Mich.; and one granddaughter, Briana Moor of Shelbyville. She also was preceded in death by her parents. Mrs. Moor had lived in Shelbyville for the past three years, moving here from Michigan. She had been a nurse for 45 years. No visitation is planned. A memorial service will be held in Michigan at a later date. Carmony-Ewing Harrison Street Chapel, Freeman Family Funeral Homes, is handling the local arrangements.
