Elaine Faye Walton, 49, of Shelbyville passed away Friday, June 11, 2010 at Major Hospital.
Born December 3, 1960, in Charleston, West Virginia, she was the daughter of Steven Anthony and Dorothy Jean (Russell) Cockerham. She married Ralph White, and he preceded her in death. She married Darrell Walton, and he survives.
Other survivors include her parents of Shelbyville; daughter, Christy (husband, David) Hobbs of Shelbyville; son, William (wife, Jane) White II and Craig Walton, both of Shelbyville; brother, Kenneth Russell of Shelbyville; and grandchildren, Ashley Walton, Tyler Goodwin, Justin Boucher, Courtney Boucher and Aaliyah White.
Mrs. Walton was a member of Shelbyville Community Church.
She was employed in the dietary department at Heritage House Convalescent Center for approximately 20 years.
Mrs. Walter enjoyed cooking, planting flowers, camping, spending time with her grandchildren and caring for others.
She attended Shelbyville High School.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, June 14, 2010 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
