Eleanor "Ellen" Pfeiffer

Eleanor "Ellen" Pfeiffer, 74, passed away Friday, June 26, 2009 at Parkview North Hospital, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Born August 14, 1934 in Lincoln, Nebraska, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Eloise Gilliatte. Survivors include her daughters, Deb Edwards of Indianapolis, Marcy (husband, Tom) Knight of Fort Wayne, Beth (husband, Charlie) Ayers of Shelbyville; son, Bruce (wife, Julia) Pfeifferof New Palestine; brother, seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; brother, Don Hayes of California; many loving friends that were her family too, Evelyn, Rhonda, Dale, Julie and her family, and Carolyn; and her "fur" babies Snuggles and Precious. She was preceded in death by her brother, Giff and sister, Deena. She loved her children and cherished her grandchildren. Graveside services will be at 1:00 pm Monday, June 29, 2009 at Forest Hill Cemetery, with Pastor Gwen Pew officiating. Services entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 819 S.
